Games for Change Festival

The Annual Games for Change Festival is the largest industry-facing event for social impact games globally. The 2020 – 2023 Festivals reached 14,000+ attendees from cross-sector groups. 

From June 27 – 28, join us in NYC to explore how gaming and XR are shaping our future in sustainability, accessibility, health, education, and more.

Talk & Plays

Talk & Play events combine G4C’s expertise in curating insightful panel discussions around a social issue, book, or game launch. Events are accessible online and in-person and have been hosted at the New York Public Library, YouTube Space LA, Microsoft, and Steelcase. Since 2020, G4C has presented a collection of virtual Talk & Play events centering on pertinent issues relating to mental health, DEI topics, and the real-world implementations and impact of XR.

Arcades

Games for Change Arcades bring the work of change-making game developers to new audiences in unexpected contexts. In partnership with cultural institutions, conferences, companies, and more, G4C produces interactive showcases that represent the best social impact and learning games on the market today from major developers and independent creators alike. Arcades can scale from in-school or library pop-up events to elaborate installations in museums or large outdoor convenings. Past Arcades have taken place at the Tribeca Film Festival,  PlayNYC, Washington Post, Youthful Festival, Upswell, and many other gatherings.
