When Rivers Were Trails is a 2D point-and-click adventure game that reveals the impact of colonization on Indigenous communities in the 1890’s featuring challenges to survive encounters, fish, hunt, and canoe from Minnesota to California. Importantly, the game features over thirty Indigenous collaborators who contributed art, music, and character scenarios.
