Games for Change (G4C) is excited to announce the expansion of the G4C Student Challenge game design program into museums! The Institute of Museum Library and Services has awarded G4C the FY 2020 National Leadership Grant for Museums and during the upcoming year, G4C will equip 40 museums in cities critically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with the tools to better connect with underserved teens.
During 2020-2021, G4C will work with 10 museums in each Challenge city (Atlanta, Detroit, LA and New York City) and provide 80 museum educators with professional development in impact game design and game-based learning. We are excited to extend the success of the G4C Student Challenge to museum settings and grow our teacher cohort to include museum educators.
