The G4C Student Challenge is a citywide competition that encourages Pittsburgh students to create games about issues impacting their communities. Winning games are celebrated at an awards ceremony where students receive game prizes, technology mentorships and more!
PITTSBURGH students are invited to create digital games about three Student Challenge themes: News Literacy, Kindness & Empathy and Wildlife Conservation: Pollinators. Select a topic to access the theme page and dive into a library of multimedia, information and resources relating to the theme topic.
Local game jams take place each month to further engage students around game design and this year’s three themes. Check the events page for the most up-to-date information.
